Stake.com is a crypto-focused online casino and sportsbook known for Stake Originals, a large third-party game catalogue and a wagering-based VIP system. It is not the same product as Stake.us: the global real-money site reviewed here is operated by Medium Rare N.V. and excludes the United States and many other jurisdictions.

The site publishes its operator, Curaçao licence number, prohibited-country list and detailed bonus-rollover policy. It also provides loss, wager and deposit limits, cooling-off, break-in-play and self-exclusion tools.

Our score is 88/100. The games, mobile experience and crypto workflow are excellent. We mark it lower on bonus transparency because there is no single universal welcome package: affiliate-code offers can differ, and an activated deposit bonus may lock the associated currency until its individual rollover is completed or the balance is exhausted.

Who owns and licenses stake.com?

Stake’s current terms identify Medium Rare N.V., registered at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao, as owner and operator. The company registration number is 145353. The site states that it is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. Payment processing may also involve Medium Rare Limited in Cyprus and MRS Tech Limited.

A Curaçao licence provides a formal regulatory framework, but it is not a guarantee that every dispute will be resolved in a player’s favour. Stake’s terms also state that management decisions concerning service use or disputes are final. Keep deposit receipts, transaction hashes, bonus terms and support transcripts whenever significant money is involved.

Is Stake casino legit?

Stake publishes verifiable corporate and licensing details, has operated since 2017 and lists KYC, AML, security and responsible-gambling policies. These are meaningful trust signals. However, legality depends on the player’s location, and crypto transfers normally cannot be charged back. Stake does not advertise one permanent welcome amount for every new account. Its help centre says a welcome offer may be redeemed through an affiliate-supplied code. The percentage, cap, currency, eligible games and rollover can depend on the specific campaign attached to the account.

Stake VIP club

The permanent reward structure is the VIP Club. Bronze starts after $10,000 in qualifying wagering, followed by Silver at $50,000, Gold at $100,000 and Platinum I at $250,000. The programme continues through higher Platinum, Diamond and Obsidian levels. These figures describe wagering volume, not a recommended spending target.

Officially described VIP benefits include:

• Weekly boosts: calculated using VIP rank, recent wagering, profit/loss and game house edge; normally distributed on Saturday.
• Monthly bonuses: eligibility and value depend on rank and recent activity and may be delivered by email.
• Rakeback: a percentage-based reward related to qualifying wagers.

Deposit bonus rollover

When a personalised deposit bonus is enabled, Stake applies a multiplier to the combined deposit and bonus. The multiplier varies by campaign. Stake’s current help article gives a 30x example: a $100 deposit plus a $100 bonus would require $6,000 of qualifying wagering. Contribution is adjusted by house edge, and the associated currency can remain locked until the progress bar is completed or the balance and open bets are exhausted.

Stake games and software providers

The casino page states that Stake offers more than 6,000 games from over 260 publishers. The catalogue includes slots, live tables, game shows, poker, scratchcards, burst games, bonus-buy titles and games with enhanced RTP versions. Current lobby examples include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Evolution, Nolimit City, BGaming and multiple smaller studios.

Stake originals

Stake Originals include Dice, Mines, Plinko, Crash, Keno, Limbo, Hilo, Blackjack and other compact games. Their main differentiator is provably fair verification: cryptographic seeds and hashes let a player check a round’s result after play. That is useful for transparency, but it does not eliminate the house edge or make a betting system profitable.

For example, Stake publishes a 99% RTP and 1% house edge for both Dice and Mines. Short rounds and autoplay can increase loss speed even when the mathematical edge looks low. Set a session limit and avoid loss-chasing progressions.

Slots and live casino

Stake lists BTC, ETH, USDT, EOS, DOGE, LTC, SOL and TRX among its supported cryptocurrencies, with additional assets and networks available in the wallet. Some regions also receive local-currency rails or third-party crypto purchase services such as MoonPay. The exact cashier is determined by country and account verification.

The 1x crypto deposit wager rule

Stake’s help centre says every crypto deposit must be wagered 100% before it can be withdrawn or tipped. In practical terms, a $100 deposit requires $100 in qualifying bets even when no bonus is accepted. This is separate from a deposit-bonus rollover, which can be much higher.

The rule helps prevent the casino wallet from being used as a transfer or mixing service. It also means Stake is not appropriate as a passive crypto wallet. Never make extra bets solely to move funds between wallets.

How fast are Stake withdrawals?

After email verification and any security or KYC checks, an approved crypto transfer may be broadcast quickly, but confirmation time depends on the selected blockchain. Minimums and fees are shown in the wallet. Local bank withdrawals can have different processing times.

Before withdrawing, verify the email, enable two-factor authentication, finish the 1x deposit wager and clear any active bonus requirement. Then slow down around the wallet screen: asset, network, address, tag or memo, minimum and fee all matter. I would save the withdrawal ID and transaction hash as well. Crypto support is much easier when you bring exact data instead of a vague “my money disappeared” message.

Registration, KYC and account security

Registration starts with an email, username and password, but Stake’s terms allow KYC documents to be requested at any time. The operator may restrict service, payments or withdrawals until identity and location are sufficiently established. Only one account per player is permitted.

Use accurate details, fund the account only from payment methods you control and enable 2FA. Do not use a VPN or proxy to bypass geoblocking: the terms explicitly identify location manipulation as a breach.

Stake mobile casino

Stake’s official casino guide says there is no dedicated native iOS or Android app for the international site. Instead, the responsive HTML5 site can be installed as a Progressive Web App from the browser. This avoids unofficial APK files and gives access to the same wallet, casino, originals and sportsbook account.

On mobile, check whether a game defaults to Real Play or Fun Play before pressing the play button. Demo balances cannot be withdrawn, while Real Play uses the account balance immediately.

Customer support

Stake advertises 24/7 live support and maintains an extensive help centre. For wallet issues, include the account ID, asset, network, amount, timestamp and transaction hash. Never disclose a seed phrase, private key, full card number or authentication code to support.

Responsible gambling tools

Stake lists loss, wager and deposit limits, cooling-off periods, break-in-play and self-exclusion. Indefinite self-exclusion remains active for at least six months and is not automatically removed. Players must be at least 18 or meet the higher local legal age.

VIP progress is not a financial goal. Bronze alone requires $10,000 of qualifying wagering, and higher tiers rise dramatically. Do not increase stakes to unlock rakeback or a reload; the expected gambling loss can exceed the reward.

My take after reading the terms

Stake is one of the stronger crypto casino products I have checked, mostly because the games, sportsbook, Originals and wallet flow all feel mature. I would still start small. Test the cashier without a bonus, make one small withdrawal, complete KYC early if the account asks for it, and triple-check the network before sending crypto.

The product is good enough to deserve attention. The terms are strict enough that lazy play can get expensive quickly.
